Performance Tests
Although I was hoping for more from the Levoit Vista 200 air purifier, its performance is unfortunately not up to par.
To be honest, this device falls short in comparison to its predecessor–the LV-H132–whose efficacy surpasses that of the Vista 200’s.
The Vista 200 is deemed suitable for a room no larger than 161 sq. ft., yet, in such an area, the airflow rate would only reach 40––a disappointing statistic.
194 sq. ft. Room Test
Despite this room being larger than what was recommended, it is no wonder that the Vista 200 did not astound us here.
Yet, we all felt a notable difference when the air purifier was put to use – within an hour of turning it on, AQI had decreased from 66 to 21; representing a remarkable 68% improvement in air quality! Although the results were seemingly satisfactory and not extraordinary by any means.
120 sq. ft. Room Test
Although I utilized the Vista 200 in a room smaller than it was intended for, I remained unimpressed with its inadequate performance. Its motor is feeble and airflow tiny.
For optimal performance, use it in rooms smaller than 100 square feet.
To the delight of everyone, Vista 200 did an impressive job in eliminating air pollution within one hour and changed 88 AQI to 23. Although it was a 74% improvement rate, my tests suggest that many other purifiers are much more proficient at this task.
Operating Costs
Vista 200 is an incredibly efficient consumer. Its motor requires only 15 watts of energy to run, ensuring you won’t break your budget with this device!
Plus, it has a built-in AC power adapter that removes the need for additional adapters inside – saving space and money.
Investing in this air purifier for your workspace yields a remarkably low-cost result – use it for 24 hours every day of the month, and you’re looking at spending less than half a dollar!

I tested this out myself and found that performance was subpar when using the device in such large areas.
If you’re searching for a top-notch air purifier, I suggest the Levoit Core 300. Despite costing slightly more than Vista 200, it is well worth the investment due to its superior design and array of advanced features.
