The Aura Air consists of a front cover with a pre-filter, which is the first stage of filtration, and a main cover with a Ray-Filter that sits on the base. The device is made of high-quality white plastic, and the main cover is a grey fabric that is attached to the base with a magnet.

There is an LED indicator on the front of the device that communicates with the user through flashing or breathing in different colors. Overall, the Aura Air is a well-designed and visually appealing device that can easily blend in with most wall decor.

At first sight, Aura Air appears quite simplistic; however, it comes with a plethora of sophisticated features. Apart from its standard options for the price range, what intrigues me most is the comprehensive air quality sensor featuring seven distinct sensors—undoubtedly one of the most advanced I have encountered to date.

Wall mount

Put your Aura Air in the perfect place! Mount it on any wall or ceiling of your choice to add a unique flair, or alternatively place its sleek look wherever you like – no fussing required.

All mounting materials come with the device so just imagine where best suits your needs and set up shop. If walls aren’t an option for you? No worries – there are plenty of other surfaces that can make this air purifier shine!

Smart App

Without the smart app, your Aura Air air purifier is simply a hunk of metal – it can’t function. That’s why pairing up with the smart app is absolutely essential to get maximum use out of your device.

Based on my prior experiences and the many air purifiers with buggy mobile applications that are almost impossible to connect, I had been doubtful about Aura Air. To my pleasant surprise, however, the connection process was incredibly smooth and seamless. In addition, I found it to be one of the most well-crafted apps out there; this can easily be verified by looking at all its excellent reviews in application stores.

Filter Reset Indicator

Monitoring the Ray-Filter’s wear-and-tear is made effortless with Aura Air’s smartphone app that gives you real-time updates. Additionally, Aura Air provides notifications to indicate when your pre-filter needs a cleaning – helping keep residue dust away from the filter components and avoiding any manual tracking for changes. Let your phone make sure everything remains up to date; after all, it will do all of this work for you!

Air Quality Sensor

With the Aura Air device, you can have peace of mind knowing that your environment’s air quality is constantly being monitored. This purifier measures 7 different elements in real-time to make sure it meets safety standards and provides premium indoor air quality with its comprehensive setup complete with a pre-filter stage. You don’t just get clean air from this product – you also get detailed data about external contamination levels delivered straight to your phone app for added security!

LED Indicator

The LED indicator is situated at the bottom front of your device and works in tandem with the app to provide you with a clear communication channel between yourself and your device.

Integration of Voice Assistants

By connecting to the Aura Air smart app, users can take their control of this device to the next level with voice commands via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. This is an ideal choice for tech-savvy individuals who desire ultimate convenience in operating these devices.

Space Coverage and CADR

The Aura Air Purifier is specifically engineered to clean the air in rooms up to 600 square feet. As mentioned by the producer, it circulates fresh air 2.5 times per hour and has a CFM of 200 – an astounding capability for its size!

Filtration

For spectacular performance, the Aura Air air purifier employs a four-stage process of pre-filtering, Ray filtering, ultraviolet light sanitation, and sterilization.

Pre-Filter

Aura Air purifier

The pre-filter is the first stage of filtration. This filter targets large particles, including dust, pollen, insects, and animal hair.

Its primary purpose is to keep out any larger particles, thus preventing them from entering the Ray-Filter and thus extending its life.

Ray-Filter

Aura Air purifier

Introducing the Ray-Filter: your go-to second-stage filtration system! it contains three special anti-bacterial, mold spores. With its advanced technology, you can breathe easily knowing all your air is clean and safe!

UV-C light

Introducing our third level of filtration – UV-C light! Hidden away in your device, this invisible ally uses powerful beams to zap even the smallest germs and viruses.

Sterionizer

we’ve also included a Sterioniser filter system designed to electrically charge molecules so they settle on surfaces for easy cleanup!

How to replace the Ray-Filter?

For optimal performance, the Ray-Filter is an essential part of the Aura Air air purifier – it can’t be washed but needs to be replaced regularly. On average, the Ray-Filter needs to be replaced every 6 months. But don’t worry about forgetting – our smart app will send you a notification reminding you of when it’s time for a change.

Noise Test

The Aura Air air purifier operates with three distinct speeds and is impressively quiet, emitting a mere 42.2 dBA in silent mode — quieter than even the Alen FLEX’s lowest setting! After testing many of the popular models, I can confidently say that this one stands out for its whisper-like sound production capabilities.

Speed Value (dBA)

Silent Mode 42.2 dBA

Low Mode 49.5 dBA

High Mode 63.3 dBA

The Aura Air motor operates with whisper-quiet efficiency. Even in High Mode, its sound profile remains contained and bearable – a testament to the machine’s productivity at peak performance!

Performance

The Aura Air is an air purifier designed for rooms up to 600 sq. ft. The manufacturer states that this filtration system captures and kills 99.9% of viruses, bacteria, VOCs, and allergens.

320 sq. ft. Room Test

In a 320 sq. ft. room, I put the Aura Air to the test by running it in high mode for sixty minutes. Surprisingly, air quality drastically improved by 84%, proving that despite being slightly smaller than the recommended area size; this device can still get outstanding results! After these 60 minutes had passed, there was even more improvement made – showing its true power and efficacy!

560 sq. ft. Room Test

In a 560 sq. ft space, Aura Air’s effect on air quality was significantly lowered; however, this could be attributed to improper ventilation.

Despite these results only being 78% effective in 60 minutes of max speed airflow, I still suggest utilizing the product in rooms that are smaller than marked recommended dimensions – as it will perform better and continue improving your environment even after those sixty minutes lapse.

Operating Costs

Aura Air purifier

Surprisingly, Aura Air proves to be a low-energy user. With only 34W of motor power needed, the device produces an optimal amount of air circulation and coverage.

The Aura Air will only cost you approximately $1.5 extra on your electricity bill if it is running 24/7 at its highest speed – an amazing deal, don’t you agree?

Pros n cons

Pros
  • Very effective air cleaning
  • Adjustable settings
  • Flexible due to small size

To clean the Pre-filter, begin by unplugging your Aura Air from the electricity.
Gently remove the Device cover and Pre-filter.
Detach the Pre-filter from the Device cover.
Wash the Pre-filter with water – no chemicals.
Dry the Pre-filter before placing it back.

How does Aura air work?
