It’s time to put the Jinpus GL-2103 air purifier under our microscope and find out what makes it so highly rated by NBC News and Health.com! This compact product packs a punch – utilizing both 1x HEPA filter technology with an Ionizer, this model may be interchangeable with other models like Rigoglioso on the market.
Let us see if whether all these features give it that edge in performance over its competition!
- The Jinpus GL-2103 is a compact air purifier that is suitable for small rooms up to 80 sq. ft.
- It is energy-efficient, as it has a low-power motor that requires only 2W.
- It only uses a HEPA filter and does not have carbon or any other forms of filtration.
- It also has an ionizer, but it is not CARB-certified, so it is not clear if it produces an excessive amount of ozone.
- It is worth noting that there is no information about the product warranty on the company’s website, so it is recommended to purchase it through Amazon to ensure protection.

The Jinpus GL-2103 is an impressive compact device that features a modern and attractive design. In fact, at first glance, it looks more like a Bluetooth speaker than an air purifier!
Thanks to its small size and portability, this handy appliance won’t take up too much space or require any extra effort in terms of installation.
If you’re looking for a device that’s as simple as possible, Jinpus is your best bet. It offers just one single button to control everything, leaving out all the complicated features and extra buttons that tend to get in the way. With Jinpus, you can enjoy an effortless experience with maximum convenience!
With little alternative, the only option left is to alter our approach.
Size and Dimensions
This air purifier is incredibly lightweight, with its total weight coming in at a mere 1.14 pounds! It also has an impressively compact size of 4.92 x 4.92 x 7.64 inches, which means it can easily fit into any space without taking up too much room.
As I noted in the preceding section, the Jinpus GL-2103 offers no sophisticated features. Furthermore, many of its essential functions – which are needed to ensure a high-quality air purifier according to my judgement – are not available with this model.
Undoubtedly, the inclusion of a filter reset indicator is a must-have to avoid any difficulty in tracking when it’s time to replace the filter. Not having this option poses an enormous issue and can be quite inconvenient for users.
Activate sleep mode on your Jinpus device and it will dim the blue light, set to turn off in 8 hours. Get a comfortable night’s rest with this energy-efficient feature!
The Jinpus GL-2103 has an ionizer, a great feature that adds additional filtration to your home. Simply check under the cover of the device and you’ll find tiny brushes!
Unfortunately, this air purifier lacks CARB certification which could mean it produces illegal ozone levels – not something we want in our homes. And here’s another downside: no turning off option for its built-in Ionizer either; once activated, it can’t be switched back off again…
It Can Be Powered With Power Bank
Jinpus operates using a mere 2W motor, and conveniently requires only DC 5V for input. This means that you can easily plug the device into most mobile phone chargers, USB ports, car jacks or even power banks without experiencing any difficulty in operation!
Room Coverage and CADR
After thoroughly testing Jinpus GL-2103 air purifier, I cannot in good conscience recommend it for any room larger than 50 sq. ft. Despite being advertised as suitable for spaces up to 80sqft., my research indicates that the device isn’t effective enough to guarantee an optimal level of cleanliness beyond a space of this size.
Jinpus GL-2103 utilizes a revolutionary single HEPA filter situated at the bottom of the device to remove miniscule particles, such as dust, pollen and odors. Its compact size ensures maximum convenience while providing uncompromising efficiency in sifting through impurities.
The major issue with this device is that it does not have a pre-filter nor a carbon filter, which are both extremely important components of any filtering system.
In my view, this device does not quite measure up when it comes to filtration. Apart from the HEPA filter, Jinpus also includes an Ionizer right above the control button at its top. Since it is uncertified by CARB (California Air Resources Board), I cannot guarantee that using the Ionizer would be completely safe either.
Jinpus GL-2103 Replacement Filter
For optimal performance, it’s crucial to purchase an authentic filter. To continue receiving superior results, make sure to replace the filter every 3-4 months.
Jinpus contains a motor capacity of only 2W and operates at one fan speed. After switching on, it produces an approximate sound level of 45.3 dBA which is bearable but slightly disappointing since there aren’t any additional adjustment levels to reduce this noise in sleep mode. Nevertheless, the quickness of testing due to its single-speed setting makes up for the minimal sound intensity created by Jinpus’ motor power.
I put the Jinpus GL-2103 air purifier to the test in a room larger than its recommended 80 sq. ft., and it performed exceptionally well compared to other models of similar specs I tested over time.
120 sq. ft. Room Test
I tried out the Jinpus GL-2103 within a room measuring 120 sq. ft., which is just slightly beyond the recommended dimensions, and ran it at its most powerful speed (the only one available) for an hour. Amazingly, this action caused air quality to improve by 52%, reducing AQI from 90 to 43 in that span of time!
The Jinpus GL-2103 is equipped with an impressive 2W motor, a feat that requires remarkable engineering to achieve high performance despite such low power. Similarly, the Levoit LV-H128 also operates on a 6W motor which is not much more than what the Jinpus offers.
If you keep your device running at Max Speed for 24 hours a day, then it will consume 1.1W of energy, translating to only ten cents wasted each month!
Air purifiers can often be costly, however, this device’s filter replacement is typically needed every 3-4 months. The cost of the new filter itself isn’t expensive and so the total expense to maintain it annually is quite reasonable.
Pros And Cons
After putting the Jinpus GL-2103 through its paces, it’s time for some frank reflection. It may be a reasonably priced device with minimal electricity consumption but when measuring performance and features, you can’t expect miracles from this product.
Unfortunately, things didn’t go too well on any of our tests – volume results, in particular, were particularly lackluster – the cherry on top being various other missing options like filter reset indicators that just add to an overall sense that we wouldn’t recommend picking up your own Jinpus GL-2013 after all!
